Had the same thing happen. I run a small repair shop. Had a lady call one day with a problem. I told her to bring the computer in to the shop. She showed up with the monitor. Another lady brought her computer in but she explained she had some trouble disconnecting the monitor and had to "really" pull hard on the vid connector. Needless to say, it was ripped out of the motherboard. Instead of replacing the motherboard I installed a vid card.
