On the very rare occasions I use MS Office (I mostly use Open Office now), I also use '97.

Why? Because for me, it does everything I need it to do and hence, there is no reason to pay out for a new version.

I don't go along with the mentality that says, "must upgrade". There has to be a good reason and for me, one word processor is the same as another, likewise spreadsheets and so on. Essentially, they're all the same.

The software houses are conning the industry, insisting on upgrades, by discontinuing support. I urge you all to wake up and smell the coffee. No such problems with open source.
