Upgrading hardware
As most of us know, each Microsoft Windows (NT-based) install is hardware specific. Sometimes you can be lucky and avoid the BSOD on re-booting after changing hardware, but its still not advised. I agree with Microsoft when they say each Windows install should be done to a clean disk. Therefore, when upgrading system box hardware its usually a case of re-installing Windows.
