You mean you discipline people to follow someone and that makes them a leader?

Discipline makes soldiers 'follow' bad officers, good leaders get followed, because of what they are.

In the military if your people won't follow your lead, you get demoted, or at least end up as a REMF. In business you outsource them and get promoted.
