As I dug through my office I found my old 486 laptop. It has DOS with Windows 3.1 on it. The main reason I keep it is because it makes a handy, and cheap, terminal. I use it to plug into Cisco switches when I have to troubleshoot.

Sure, you could use any notebook, but I fished this out of the trash years ago so it's really a free terminal.
