I had to research, "ITIL", far enough to where I began developing cataracts.

You ask for a discussion of comparative ambiguities. Many here are well-suited for that. I'm not.

Me, I only wonder if you studied the volume about standardization of terms, such as your spelling (twice) of, "organizaitions".

Given the current market conditions, IT budget pressures and the need to do more for less, is that automatically driving the adoption of ITIL in IT organizaitons either directly or indirectly?
