oh yeah
I love western NC. especially out by Asheville. I stayed out there a couple times, and fell in love with it. That's why I'm looking at several 3-20 acres tracts once I get the house sold.
Plus, there was a job with the City of Asheville that (if I had my house sold and was renting right now) I would love to have applied for. I had most qualifications for it, and I would have lived outside the city and just driven 10-20 minutes in every morning.
But definitely...western NC and SC are just beautiful from driving through/visiting there. If I can just find the right homey place with a job where I won't be taken advantage of cause I'm too nice to say no, then I will be happy.
And yeah, I have heard Gatlinburg is great. If I get a vacation for a few days, I will probably go up there. And, I'm an outdoorsy type. Love camping and hiking and all. If I could do more of it, i'd probably be in better shape than I am now.
But shhhh...don't tell Sonja...I get that close to KY, she would hunt me down if I didn't drive in for margaritas lol
