I have over 9 clients using Mozy. One of them has over 400GB backed up online. I have recovered GB's of data over the years. I have also recovered an Exchange 2003 server using Mozy.

Please don't let Michael's problems stop you. They are related to his systems and his network. That is why Mozy and Carbonite cannot help him.

I must add that the approach of copying the data to a friend's hard drive is wrong in too many ways to state here. You are out of your mind if you think a friend's hard drive is a suitable substitute for an online backup company.
