You all don't get it. It can be YOUR cloud not THE cloud! YOU will control ALL of the data - every single bit.

This is EXACTLY what companies want - all the data is in the company cloud, not THE cloud. NO data is stored locally. All data created by staff is housed/controlled/maintained by the IT department. Nothing will be local.

A stable, small OS that does not require updates/patches/upgrades that is portable. Think of the money and power savings. No license fees, no virus checker, no remote admin software (just blow it away.) MS is even bringing out Office for the web that should play nicely on this OS.

This could be the thin client that big companies have been looking for.
