With all due respect
Although i have personal experience with taking a job that was not what it seemed, in this economic climate, "beggars can't be choosers" and sometimes it's best to take the job and try to change your outlook and the people around you until something better comes along. Sometimes you can be the spark that lights up the organization for the better.
I can't see how anyone out of work for any length of time would find a "poor work culture" as a detriment to putting food on the table. Just my 2 cents.
