I watched the video discussing using ZAR to recover files from a damaged hard drive. We are assuming the damaged drive is the primary drive, correct? Could it be possible to recover files from the damaged drive by enlisting it as a secondary drive? Provided there ample SATA or IDE connectors available, this could be a safer and least cost alternative to recover files from a damaged drive.
