Leaving because of bad bosses
a) One screamed at me all the time, and did one day when my father was having surgery...which almost got him a trip through the 4th floor plate glass window to my left.
b) One made me a ton of promises when I started working for him, including what my work hours would be. Plus, he promised me a vacation but management not making decisions set back my project 6-7 weeks and I ended up not going on one...and then a good friend of mine died and I could no longer look at the boss there the same way or work as diligently for him as I had.
Bosses who will belittle you...or give you assurances then betray you when they know they have you trapped...are not worthy of my loyalty or commitment to excellence.
