AT an interview, the prospective boss showed me his server room. 40 foot "patch" cords piled on the floor like colorful spaghetti. Several switches on a lunchtable. "I'm testing those" he explained, but I heard it as "I'm trying to figure out how to work with them". Many other comments and refereences during the interview that led me to believe he was both incompetant and mentally unstable. I turned down the position.
