My ex-wife left a position because of bad management. She was in a meeting with both her boss & her boss's boss. The boss's boss told her to make cold sales calls. Her boss told her not to bother with cold calls, because of the low percentage of sales with them.

She was put in a position where, if sales weren't good, she could have been fired for not following the directions of one or the other.

She left.
