A manager of the IT department of a startup co. that I worked at, has us working weekends in order to meet the scheduled delivery date of our application. After working several 6 or even 7 day weeks, we delivered the product on time. The following Monday, he gave us all a little presentation and told us all to take the day off work. When I questioned him as to whether he was going to slip our next delivery date by a day, he said 'no'.

So when are supposed to make up the time off, next Saturday - Duh!

To be fair, he had never been a manger before and was a DBA in his previous position. The only reason he was manager was because his kid played soccer with the CEOs kid.
