There are some truths in the article but I have contrary opinions on some of these issues. You cannot detach a manager from his/her orientation, beliefs, emotional make up and habits. For example: point 10 on long hours, there are exceptions. A situation where the tasks at hand is more than the available staff and the delivery time is short. You may have to put in more time than usual.
