I think that there is a glaring omission with poor communicators not being in the top ten.

While it might seem a basic skill, the inability to communicate effectively and properly, seems to be dying among many managers. How many times have you seen managers hiding behind emails and not even bothered to pick up the phone, never mind walk 10 yards to speak to someone.
