WYSIWYG (Wizzy-Wig)
In the days before Apple introduced True Fonts and M.S. picked it up for Windows we had to use separate fonts for the computer screen and the printer. The printout often didn't match what you thought it would be so WYSIWYG -What You See Is What You Get - was very important. True Fonts let you use the same font for both, solving the problem.
