yes to Ctl-C, Ctl-X, Ctl-V -- great--I use them all the time. But my quickest and easiest is a macro Ctl-Alt- W that opens a blank Word doc, where after using Ctl-C and Ctl-X, and my macro, I use Ctl-V to insert the text. Beats opening Word with a mouse.
