1 Windows Explorer to wake up open at the folder you last shut it down on - I never, ever use the Documents folder because I save my data in the data partition or on a network drive, and having to plod my weary way out of the Documents folder twenty times a day annoys me.
Just add the opening location you desire as a suffix to your Windows Explorer Start Menu or Quick Launch 'Target' entry.
Example:
%windir%\Explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,C:\
will open Windows Explorer at the root of the C: drive. You can also specify a specific directory (folder) if you prefer.
