You don't need to jailbreak you iPhone to outweigh an android. The Android OS sucks dearly, and it's a copy all the way from Google to the phone manufacturing companies.
Before you disagree, think about what made you (and me) buy an android phone? Was it price and the promised open-ish...?
Well, in my case, the difference in the price was insignificant (Galaxy S), but I still wanted to try it, given the fact that I am a software developer. After just one day I already started hating the phone or myself for buying it, I am usually a caring person and I wear my gadgets with care, but it wasnt enough for this phone, after one day I had some tiny scratches on the back and one on the screen.
Now the worst thing about Android phones is the hicks, I hate the hicks so much I want to smash the damn thing on the spot, but then it sometimes hangs and even restarts on its own, and thats when I really get the smashing thoughts.
The applications well, 90% of the FREE apps are crap, besides they work bad, and the ads thing, its pretty annoying, I consider it spam, cause its too damn irritating, I agree to the fact that nothing is free, and maybe I could endure the ads in a fully fledged app. But a limited app should never have ads, because its limited and yet is producing more money than the paid app, through add (put thats Googles part, which is yet another bucket of fish).
Bottom line for me, after having the iPhone 3G (had it for a year and a half and loved it until its last day), Galaxy S (had it for 6 months, flashed it more times than I can remember, hated it from the first day, now I used it as a media server/remote and it still sucks) and now iPhone 4 (which I absolutely love it, no signal problems, no sweaty hands), Androids suck for as many reasons Google says its nice and some, as it doesnt do anything right. As for the headsets, junk, crap build quality with an AMOLED display, lol.
