A Cloud is a useful tool for companies and developers where lots of people want to get things of and put input to it for achieving a common goal.
But companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google, have different agendas and this is not funny for the future. Its to fragile for our privacy to slow and in no way should it be the future I hope to be for the you and me.
The INTERNET was and still is a great thing and please should stay that way.
Lets keep it free of influence of governments.
We absolutely need more good software systems to keep the likes of Microsoft from becoming to big players in the market. If only one system is to stay that will be the and of our freedom.
I was looking for a way to get out of windows doe to the over protection and spy on you functions.
So I went to Linux and after having had a look at it some years ago I must make them all a big compliment. Ubuntu KDE Mint Fedora /Redhead Suse and all the others. From my point of few and that is of a Linux beginner there are two mane differences gnome and KDE.
Foolish to say apple and windows like shapes. But yes it looks a bit like that.
What all should be aware of despite the differences in looks is to get rid of that still necessary Terminal. Thats for tech guys but no more for normal users.
The one hoe will doe its best of eliminating that thing for upgrades and software installs will be the one getting lots of NEW USERS.
Lucky both are on the way in doing so.
As of what the better choice here is, should decide every user on his own.
KDE is more technical with nice structure and modern looks you can really tweak it to ones likes. But still many flaws to be resolved and that is no easy task since KDE made it very big and diverse. For instance try to install a network printer haha. should be easy but wow not working and than you get hit by 1000 options.
Not good. Try to get different users to work somehow also not an easy job.
So it should get leaner and keep it userfriendly dont get to much in that windows corner. Indead look a bit in Android direction too.
Ubuntu people should offer a bit more tweaking options.
But the most important thing is it should WORK WITHOUT FLAWS and no more
those unix-dos like commands. Thats to old stuff to be used for todays desktops.
