Seems to evade a "few" OS advocates when it comes to something they like. There always seems to be a "quasi-religious vision" in each camp.
Even though I am a Linux user, I often just "don't get it" when it comes to the "mentality" of the thing. Up to now, I have 3 people that have switched, but not because I preached, but because they saw me use Linux and liked what they saw.
Mind you, I can be quite drastic, opinionated, draconian, evil, or... unforgivable according to some
. But never so about an OS or the toys it contains.
That's why I was disappointed after reading this article to find such a limited experience for myself.
