DSL can run at various speeds such as 768kbps, 1mbps, 3mbps, 7.1mbps.

A T1 by default is 1.5mbps or about 150KB/s.

DSL at 768kbps is about 76KB/s, 1mbps is about 100KB/s etc...

Can anyone tell me how to test for a bottleneck on our T1?

We have a download that use to go 4mb over DSL. After the T1 was put in, it now downloads at 100k. Nothing else has changed.

Are there some ways I can test to see if the system is bottlenecking?
