Hmmm
I hate to say this, but the article takes great big *Nix delusions of acceptability. As ever, the idea put forward that its_the users fault if they put a space in a file name.

And rm for unskilled users, via command line - bad idea. Period. And no, don't turn round and tell them to go read the 'man' page.

Linux still has a very long way to go, and a great many thinks need correcting before its really going to be a good fit for everyone.

The real world issue of things like don't put spaces in filenames, and things like the ludicrious don't use capitals in any usernames fly in the face or real world English use and skills. Its not point sayi9ng that end users have to adapt to the system, when its the system itself that has these absolute flaws, and in the elemental sense, is so very wrong.

And no, the fact *Nix has been like this for 40 years is no excuse for being crap for 40 years. Change it, fix it, modernise it.
