I was supporting G-Man in his asking the question, wondering why Wizard-09 felt his doing so was 'hating on the world'.

I've never had a problem either (that I was aware of). Newer versions of Windows (V, 7) are far more secure than XP and its predecessors, but there are still plenty of those boxes in the hands of untrained or uncaring home users.
