My point is not being able to login as root is a damn pain in the ass. I have to retype the sudo password over and over, or keep reopening SUDO GUI sessions and file managers. This is out right aggravating. It makes setting up anything on Linux a truly painful task. If it was still possible to just login as root when needed, I would be happy.
