If you know how to do it, or your are prepared to learn there are a lot of things the CLI can do for you with way less effort.

Simple block copy rename delete etc.

Easy from teh command line, total clickfest from the GUI.

Just because you don't want it, doesn't mean no one else does.

As for requiring CLI in linux, not often with modern distros.
