I happen to agree with you. There are situations were a FireFox add-on may be useful. But, I really don't want to use a screen capture/edit tool that is restricted to a single browser. I have used SnagIt from TechSmith (http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp) for several years and it provides many featuree that way go beyond any of these add-ons.
