you can downlaod a host file that points all the major banner ad providers to 127.0.0.1...effectively making all banner ads go away. A lot of our pc's were getting "drive-by" attacks like that, especially from our smalltown newspaper site, until we put that host file into use. This saves bandwidth and ensures the users get the content they are looking for, not the banner ad infection.
