As the Windows system is endemic in business, it's surprising to me, just how far it's slipped. Yes, I know we're talking about private use, but many professionals (not surprisingly) prefer to keep to what they know.

What is a further surprise, is my contemporaries would rather install Linux than XP; 18% v 22%.

That is something that was probably unthinkable even just 5 years ago.

Linux, while remaining the underdog, is still the preferred system by over 1 in 5 professionals and completely trounces MAC. To me, that shows a significant shift in acceptance.
