Help creating live cd with AHCI drivers
I've been trying to create a Bart's CD or any other live CD that is capable of booting a number of new HP computers I have had in our shop, but they all use SATA drives in AHCI mode, and I'd like to be able to access them without having to change that setting. Does anyone know how to create a Bart's disk with these drivers integrated, so I can overcome the BSOD problem? I like to Ghost my drives before doing any malware removal work, and I don't want to switch between IDE mode and AHCI mode when cloning hard drives. I've tried several of the CD's mentioned in this article, but not one of them will boot an HP ProBook that's running in AHCI mode.
