And what most fail to understand is that Grounding
Also causes the Potential to rise when there is a close lighting hit/strike.

Way too many people think of Ground as Zero Volts but when there are lighting Strikes the Ground can have a very high Voltage and many problems come from Grounded Equipment and the charge coming in over the Ground connection.

Not every path is to Ground when Lighting is concerned. wink
