When he is saying confused he is saying that IT doesn?t agree with Apples closed my way or nothing philosophy.
Seriously, to use an iPhone you have to have iTunes, to use iTunes you have to have an iTunes account. iTunes brings with it QuickTime. Maybe I don?t want iTunes, QuickTime, and another account (with an associated credit card) for every user who gets a phone. If I can?t live with that - no iPhone.
Oh yea, did I mention that if I want to develop an application I have to register with Apple first. And of course the developers license agreement makes a violation of the terms of agreement if I choose to write a app in anything other than their software. If I can?t live with that ? no app.
Obviously anyone who doesn?t bow down at the temple of Steve is confused?.
