My experience with LapLink was mixed - we've deployed it on 16 machines, and some stuff transferred just fine, such as Office. However, AV transfer was a complete failure - Symantec was unstable, had to reinstall manually. Also, it does not solve the incompatibility problems for older software.
I personally could live with that, and intended to use XP mode - however my boss said he won't trust the result for a production system because of aforementioned instability - go figure. We are looking to try the Zinstall solution, haven't tried yet.
