You need to install, setup and learn most applications. Dragon NaturallySpeaking is no different. It takes only a few moments to train the application to your voice, but it can be used if you don't want to do that.

It may not be for every organization. But, it can be used in open areas becasue many organizations with who I have worked do use it just that way.
