Take a laptop, install linux. Now get a docking station and attach two dual monitors.

In the middle of working suspend the laptop, close the lid, and dock the system.

Power back up.

Now find your screen.

You can man handle X and fix the configuration, or you can use W7 and simply have your monitors auto config.
