...I too thought it was recent from the fact that it was highlighted in that email last month. Sometimes a person just reads the content and takes it at face value - TR seems to be suffering from a lack of editorial control, or something, what with the oddly random emails showing up old columns, frequent and irritating typos, and inability to jump to the recent posts in these comments.

Before the last revamp of this website, all posts were displayed, and those made in the last 24 hours were flagged with a "new" banner or tag in the corner. Now that it's been prettied up, you have to go into your profile somewhere and set up your preferences to display all posts (which still only shows a maximum no - I think 50 - per page) and there is no way to highlight the newer ones. So when an email arrives telling you there have been new posts to xyz column you have to do a manual search - per page - for each of the new posts listed; otherwise you have to re-read each post until you spot one that you haven't seen before. Seems TR's goal here is to annoy readers as much as possible.
