Has anybody ever tried running Hamachi VPN to setup a VPN between the client and the remote machine and then running the remote access software? (Real, Ultra, Tight, VNC or even RDC)

1 No router/firewall configuration needed but I wonder if anybody would know if it would be more secure?

You could run the Hamachi VPN on road warrior laptops to access them where ever they may be without worrying about firewalls.

Any thoughts to this?
FYI: Hamachi VPN has a free version.
