WOW!!!!!
cpsaroudakis@... 2nd Sep 2010
I believe it is the most impressive desktop orientation that I have ever seen. Definetely the user belongs to Virgo sign....: P: P: P I would prefer though a different painting rather than Vigor from the Ghostbusters. But it?s by far the best!!!!!

Until someone right clicks and selects "auto-arrange" on the icons......
Shock Desktop is a free program.

Once setup it will return the desktop to the saved profile.

It saves lots of time if a fiend visits and want to check his or her email and hits the wrong button.

whats involved. what are the contents
This Desktop is one of the most creative desktop I've ever seen. It simply looks great!

I would be nice if we had the list of applications, widgets and access to the wallpaper used. I would like to use that same desktop on my own computer...

I like this one!

I like lots of icons as I hate the Start Menu---I have trouble finding the program I want. This has icons for important functions and an artistic design.

WOW Also

That first one just blew all the others away, they should have put it last or in the middle or something. Many of the others were just wallpaper, I have had way better wallpaper than most of them before but I like to change mine frequently.

Way Cool

I would also like to know where the background picture came from. I think that does the trick more than anything. Can you tell us if and where we can get the background please?
Think the one submitted by Fooshards is cool, but they really need to loose the shortcut-arrow overlay - spoils the overall look.

Thanks for the kind words all.

You can find the original blank I made before Vigo-ing it up here. Its funny to see how my original has spread on the interwebs. (I added the frame + pic to the drab office setting)

Blank: http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/2302/blankframe.png
With Vigo goodness: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/5466/vigooffice.jpg

The transparency just has to be stretchfilled with your favorite piece of art.

The main modding aspect of it other than windows 7 is the google gmail widget, the pandora widget, and Rainmeter. Rainmeter is all that dynamic text and graphs on the floor. It is very customizable, and I'd consider it lightweight. (under 8MB memory usage, 0.32% CPU usage)

Edit: Forgot that Photobucket eats my original's size, sigh. Reuploaded and edited URL to another host.

Thank you for providing the images. I will be adding this to one of my saved themes on Windows 7.
neat idea. Ive had the desktop up for over a week now, thanks.
This was the best but the Angle 3 was excellent too.

Thanks for the idea, anthony.boxall. That is really clever, I'm going to try this on one of my workstations that has a 20 foot span across a room to a view out a window directly behind the monitor.

It's a 1080i/hdmi capable 24 inch monster, too. This should work well!
I have never seen a desktop look this good! I usually just don't put any icons on my desktop. Instead, I use rocketdock to put all the day-to-day task icons with a click.
Completely agree and concur with all of the above mentinoed comments.
Very well done.
