How could this in any way be Microsoft trying to "Pressure the world to adopt Win 7"?

Im sorry but most companies will phase out support for old products as they introduce new ones, so not releasing IE9 to XP users (if thats in fact what they are doing, wouldnt be surprised if they are) is not an attempt at forcing you to upgrade, its just a phasing out of an old product. Both Apple and Linux do it as well
