rebuild?

Just wondering, if after a crack open and teardown, if you re-assemble the items and see if they still work?

Agree, but

I think there were quite a lot of unnecessary pictures that didn't add any help or information. And I would prefer to have these "operations" as videos. That way it would be easier to crack open my own devices and see where the difficult stages are. And as previously stated, reassembly videos would be nice too.

... but I hear it takes Six Million Dollars angel

if you're not up on your late 70's TV, you might not get the joke.

I was living and breathing and running around in the late 70s, 60s, and even 50s! OMG!

As technology is getting smaller, so will the iPods. The new iPod nano is a must have for people like me who stay on top of technology, but for those of you who dislike small displays, you won't like it because it has the same sized screen as the original nano only a little bigger. Other than that, I have to get myself one of them. I used an ipod touch 1G before, but sold it because it was kinda slow for the Apps i use on a daily basis.
For me this was an interesting experience, but for the most part, how many people in our 'it's-broken-toss-it-out-and-buy-another-one' society do think will bother?
I tore apart my daughter's digital camera - took me some care and about 1/2 hr - very satifying when she still uses it over a year later!
