Verner was NOT the original purchaser of the license to use Autodesk v14, those copies were supposed to have been destroyed per agreement between Autodesk and the original purchasers subsequent to an upgrade.
What Verner did comes close to piracy...he obtained unlicensed copies and attempted to sell them on eBay.
"First purchaser" usage does not apply in this case.
Let's wait before we announce that everyone that has purchased legitimate software licenses are now subject to legal proceedings.
