Unfortunately, we lost this iPod Touch on the operating room table.

I've cracked open dozens of gadgets for TechRepublic and always been able to put them back together in working order.

This one stumped me.

I tore one of the internal ribbon cables--not really sure how. And, I accidentally insert the tip of my opening tool between the display and front panel--damaging the display.
