is a huge pain as you noted. However our employees are loving an Outlook app called Touchdown. Yes, it does cost $19.99, but it synchs correctly, does a much better job of searching emails, and the list goes on. All our business people in the field have switched to Touchdown after trying the 5 day trial. Just something to consider...
