New Macs don't have any 3rd-party software set to autorun. Some (all?) Macs ship with a trial-version of Microsoft office, but removing it is as simple as throwing a single folder in the trash.

But you don't even need to do that. It's not set to autorun, and it doesn't clutter up the registry because Mac's don't use a registry file. The only "cost" to having it there is the disk space it uses.
