I (Heart) NASA
Roc Riz Updated - 28th Oct 2010
I remember those Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo launches on TV. That Saturn V was the most powerful rocket ever launched, I believe.

I only wish that there was more money for NASA, as they have contributed much to our knowledge of the universe.

"Last week's NASA-based desktop wallpaper gallery was so popular we thought you would like to see more examples of the kind of images available for free from the NASA website."

Link to the NASA page with these please! My son is on a HUGE rocket kick, every day he demands to watch a zillion videos of launches and he's dressing as an astronaut for Halloween...

I have a link to NASA on each page. happy
NASA likes to present everything by mission - so that is the best way to find a particular image. (ie Hubble, Apollo, etc.)

Many thanks for the transcendent pictures. This is very gratuitous of you Thanks.
I had as wallpaper views of deeper space. What is admirable and inspiring is "How we are getting there and discovering".

Three cheerts to the great scientists, technologies and the team of contributors.
Awesome pictures and Great History of NASA. Please keep them coming.

ARES 1_X Test Flight occurred on June 4, 2010. Not in 2009
How sad USA has become, when we once led the world in these adventures, and now even behind in high speed trains, science not number one in most schools, sports more important. As "old guy" was there during first "man in space" shots, remember the pride, how kids all wanted to "Build rockets and stuff", But today we often leave scientific adventures/programs to other nations.
Yea to slightly paraphrase of past and our current reality. "Houston and all, we REALLY do have a problem". Billions on special interest boondoggle, but little on leading the world in sciences.
