Did you not read the third paragraph of inflicting one's incompetence on others (or the rest of it)? Are you suggesting that irresponsible, security violating use of JavaScript by naive programmers who don't know any better is all sweetness, light, and daisies?

Refrigerator art doesn't create cross-site scripting opportunities for malicious security crackers to steal your credit card number, nor does an animated GIF. We're talking about programming here.
