In some multilingual machine translation systems, Esperanto or some other synthetic language may be used as the central hub, describing "the essence" of the text.

Now, what could serve as such a "combining glue", which would be able to describe "the idea"?
In the old time it would be some kind of flowchart, but with all objects and classes flying around I don't know anymore...
