In our industry especially...and I would venture to say that it's an accepted practice. I've been at my current job for 3.5 years now, the longest I have ever stayed with a single company in my professional career, but I found that I had to challenge MYSELF in order to make it interesting. A change might be forthcoming as I max out, however.
